9.-11. aprillini olid Erasmus+ SchoolEmergency projekti partnerid koos Tallinnas, Eestis. Toimus projekti teine töökoosolek.
Projekti eesmärgiks on välja töötada online õppeplatvorm põhikooli õpetajatele ning õpilastele, mis võimaldab juurdepääsu infole, kuidas peaks koolis kõige enam esinevate hädaolukordade korral käituma: teemadeks esmaabi, tulekahju, terrorirünnaku oht, maavärinad ja toksiline õhusaaste. Need teemad valiti vastavalt rahvusvaheliselt läbi viidud küsitlusele. Vahemikus oktoober 2017 – jaanuar 2018 võtsid küsitlusest osa partnerriikide õpetajad ja õpilased. Tulemustest selgus, et 22.36% õpetajatest ning 33.37% põhikooli õpilastest pole saanud mingit väljaõpet nende hädaolukordadega seoses. 41.46% õpetajatest ja 47.19% õpilastest on mingit juhendamist saanud, kuid see pole piisav kuna sisaldas ainult evakueerimist tulekahju korral (87.75% õpetajatest, 94.18% õpilastest) ja oli väga lühiajaline (62.53% õpetajatest vähem kui kolm tundi ja 58.43% õpilastest alla tunni).
Kohtumise esimene päev algas sooja tervitusega Eesti Päästeameti peadirektori asetäitja Tauno Suurkivi poolt. Järgnevalt viisid projektipartnerid läbi seni välja töötatud e-õppe sisu hindamise ja muutsid järgmise projektitegevuse suuniseid, e-õppe platvormi katsetamist õpetajatega ning nelja riigi põhikooli õpilastega: Taani, Hispaania, Eesti ja Leedu.
Kohtumise teisel päeval olid külalised Gaia koolis. Tutvuti kooli ja õppetegevusega ning projektiga seoses arutati konkreetseid küsimusi õppeplatvormi osas.
Järgmine kohtumine toimub Vilniuses (Leedu) jaanuaris 2020. Vilniuse kohtumisel hindavad projektipartnerid testimise tulemusi ja määravad kindlaks e-õppe platvormil rakendatavad parandused enne lõplikku avaldamist.
See rahvusvaheline strateegilise koostöö projekt on kahe päästeameti Frederiksborg Fire and Rescue Service (Taani) ja Alcala de Guadaira Fire and Rescue Service (Hispaania) koostöös sündinud algatus, kus osalevad lisaks kahele mainitule veel Estonian Rescue Board (Eesti), Vilnius Division of Civil Protection (Leedu), ja koolide poolt on esindatud Vilniaus "Genio" (Leedu), Gaia Hariduse Selts (Eesti) ning Profesor Tierno Galván high school (Hispaania). School Emergency projekti kaasrahastab Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

Second transnational meeting of
the School Emergency project
From 9th to 11th
April, the seven partner organisations of the School Emergency project met in Tallinn (Estonia) for their second
transnational meeting.
The objective of the project is
to develop the first e-learning platform for primary and secondary school
teachers and students on how to respond to the emergencies most likely to occur
in EU schools: first aid, fire, terrorist threat, earthquake and toxic cloud.
These emergencies were selected based on the results of the transnational study
that the partners carried out between October 2017 and January 2018. Results
showed that 22.36% of the teachers and 33.37% of the students have not been
trained at all on how to respond to these emergencies. For 41.46% of the
teachers and 47.19% of the students who were trained, the training was “not
enough” because it was limited to evacuation in case of fire (87.75% teachers,
94.18% students) and it was too short (less than 3 hours for 62.53% of the
teachers, and less than 1 hour for 58.43% of the students).
The first day of the meeting
began with a warm welcome from Mr. Tauno Suurkivi, Deputy Director General of
Estonian Rescue Board. Next, the project partners carried out an evaluation of
the e-learning content developed so far and revised the guidelines for the next project activity, the testing of the
e-learning platform with primary and secondary school teachers and students
from four countries: Denmark, Spain, Estonia and Lithuania.
The next project meeting will
take place in Vilnius (Lithuania) in January 2020. During the meeting in
Vilnius, the project partners will evaluate the results from the testing and
define the improvements to be implemented on the e-learning platform before the
final publication.
This cross-sectoral and
cross-border partnership is an initiative of Frederiksborg Fire and Rescue
Service (Denmark) in collaboration with Alcala de Guadaira Fire and Rescue
Service (Spain), Estonian Rescue Board (Estonia), Vilnius Division of Civil
Protection (Lithuania), Vilniaus "Genio" school (Lithuania), Gaia
Hariduse Selts (Estonia), and the high school Profesor Tierno Galván (Spain).
